Restaurant Pest Control for Kitchens, Storage and Dining Rooms

Restaurant pest control protects the kitchens, prep lines, storage rooms and dining areas your business depends on. Food, water, warmth and steady deliveries draw pests to any foodservice space. Cockroaches hide behind equipment and near drains. Ants follow crumbs and spills. Beetles and moths can get into dry goods. One sighting in front of a guest can hurt your reputation fast.

On Demand Pest Control provides general pest control for restaurants under our commercial service agreement. First, your inspector looks at the property, confirms which areas the service will cover, and writes a quote for your building. Then a technician treats the interior and exterior on the first visit. After that, recurring visits focus on the outside and keep a treated barrier in place to limit pests getting into your kitchen.

Our approach to pest control in South Florida is built around the region’s climate. Heavy rain, heat and humidity keep insects active most of the year. That is why our exterior treatments use rain-repellant and rain-activated products that keep working through summer storms. Restaurants get the same barrier approach we use on our general pest accounts, planned around a commercial kitchen, its storage rooms and its service entrances.

Our East Coast branch in Davie serves Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Our West Coast branch in Naples serves Collier and Lee counties.

Pest Problems a Commercial Kitchen Service Addresses

Foodservice spaces attract pests that follow food and moisture. Your signed agreement lists the indoor pests it covers, and your inspector goes over that list with you before you sign. Common restaurant pest problems include:

  • Cockroaches: activity around kitchens, drains, storage shelves and the building perimeter. A heavy German roach infestation needs our separate roach flushout, which is quoted on its own.
  • Ants: trails that come in from outside and head for sugar, grease and standing water.
  • Pantry pests: beetles and moths in dry storage. Depending on your agreement, these are handled as part of your service or through a separate pantry pest flushout.
  • Other crawling insects: any additional pests named as covered pests in your agreement.

We also handle rodents and termites for businesses under separate agreements. Bed bugs, mosquitoes and wildlife are not part of restaurant general pest control, so we quote them separately.

Signs Your Restaurant Needs an Exterminator

Your staff usually spot these signs first. If any of them sound familiar, it is time to call a restaurant exterminator:

  • Roaches in daylight: roaches are mostly active at night, so daytime sightings can point to a growing population.
  • Droppings or smear marks: small dark specks along shelves, under prep tables or around equipment.
  • Ant trails: steady lines of ants along baseboards, drains or door thresholds.
  • Damaged dry goods: holes in packaging, webbing, or small insects in flour, rice or spices.
  • Pests near deliveries: insects around receiving doors, dumpsters or stacked boxes.
  • Guest or staff sightings: any report from the dining room deserves a quick call.
  • Pests that return after DIY sprays: activity that keeps coming back after store-bought treatments.

Preparing Your Kitchen and Storage Areas for Service

A smooth visit starts with access. Before service, confirm with your inspector which contracted areas are included, and make sure your staff know which storage rooms, back hallways and exterior doors the technician needs to reach. If your building sits behind a locked gate or a shared service corridor, arrange entry ahead of time.

How Restaurant Pest Control Service Works

Service follows the terms of your commercial agreement and is planned around how your restaurant runs:

  1. Free inspection and quote.

Your inspector walks the kitchen, prep areas, storage rooms, dining room and exterior. Together you confirm which areas the contract covers, and the inspector writes a quote for your property.

  2. Access planning for foodservice spaces.

We confirm the contracted areas the technician needs to reach, such as dry storage, back hallways and receiving doors, and arrange gate or service corridor entry ahead of time.

  3. Initial interior and exterior treatment.

The first visit treats the inside of the building and the outside perimeter. The technician also notes conditions that encourage pest activity, and those notes guide the treatment.

  4. Emailed service report.

After every visit, you get an email showing the property was treated, which products were used, and which areas were targeted.

  5. Recurring exterior barrier.

Once indoor activity is under control, regular visits focus on the exterior with rain-repellant and rain-activated products. We let you know when your next exterior service is due, and you can ask for interior treatment at that visit.

  6. Interior service on request.

If covered pests appear inside between visits, we come back to treat the interior.

How Much a Restaurant Exterminator Costs

Restaurant pricing comes from a written quote prepared after a free inspection of your property. Commercial service is quoted individually for each property.

Your quote depends on the size of your building, how many kitchen, storage and dining areas the contract covers, and how serious the current pest activity is. Access needs are part of the quote. Separate services, such as a German roach flushout, are quoted on their own. Your inspector walks you through the quote before you decide.

Why Restaurants Choose On Demand Pest Control

Restaurant owners need a pest control provider with clear terms. Here is what you get with us:

  • Licensed and fully insured: Pest Control License #JB259950, with general liability and workers’ compensation coverage.
  • A record of every visit: an emailed service report after each treatment that lists the products used and the areas targeted, so you can keep it with your business records.
  • Clear service scope: your agreement names the covered pests. Rodents, bed bugs, termites and heavy roach flushouts are quoted separately, so you know what is included.
  • Prompt scheduling: we respond the same day. New customers are typically scheduled within 24 hours, and same-day appointments depend on availability and preparation.

What Happens If Pests Come Back Inside

If covered pests show up inside your building between scheduled visits, tell us. We will come back and treat at no additional charge. The initial service also comes with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, as described in the agreement.

Free return visits cover indoor activity by the pests named in your agreement. They don’t cover pests outside the building, in detached structures or in landscaped areas, and they don’t cover excluded pests like rodents or bed bugs. The agreement’s warranty terms spell out what is included, and you can read them before you sign. That way your managers know what to do and what to expect when a covered pest turns up indoors.

Frequently asked questions

How often should a restaurant get pest control service?

Commercial monthly service is available. Your signed agreement sets your service schedule.

Can a pest control company guarantee we pass a health inspection?

No pest control company can promise how a health inspection will turn out. What we provide is scheduled treatment and an emailed service report after every visit, which gives you a written record of the work.

Is DIY pest control enough for a commercial kitchen?

Store-bought sprays can kill the insects you see, but pests hiding behind equipment and in wall voids often survive. On Demand Pest Control holds Florida Pest Control License #JB259950. Our initial service treats both the interior and the exterior, and ongoing visits keep an outside barrier in place.

Does restaurant pest control include rats and mice?

No. Restaurant general pest control does not cover rodents. We offer rodent service under a separate agreement and quote it after an inspection.

How soon can service start at my restaurant?

We respond the same day. New customers are typically scheduled within 24 hours, and same-day appointments depend on availability and preparation.
