Frequently asked questions
How much does termite treatment cost in West Palm Beach?
The only published starting price is for a one-year drywood bond on a smaller home. Every other service is quoted after a free inspection, based on the species, method, home size, and treatment area. You get a written quote before any work begins.
Is the termite inspection free?
Yes. The standard inspection we do to recommend treatment is free. An official WDO real-estate report for a home sale or closing is a separate paid service, and we quote it on request.
Do I have to leave my home during treatment?
It depends on the method. Tent fumigation requires you to leave, typically for two nights and three days, and you go back in only after the licensed fumigator posts clearance. Formosan liquid treatment does not require you to leave, but people and pets need to stay clear of the work area and off treated soil until it is watered in or dry. For other methods, your inspector will explain what to expect.
Can a baiting system treat drywood termites?
No. Baiting systems target subterranean termites, including Formosan termites. They do not cover drywood or above-ground infestations. Drywood termites are handled with spot treatment, a drywood bond, or tent fumigation.
How soon can someone inspect my West Palm Beach home?
We respond the same day you contact us. New customers are typically scheduled within 24 hours. Same-day appointments depend on availability and preparation.
