Frequently asked questions
How do I know if I have drywood or subterranean termites?
Drywood colonies live entirely inside the wood they feed on. Subterranean and Formosan colonies are tied to the soil. You often can't tell them apart from the damage alone, so our inspector confirms the species during a free inspection before recommending anything.
Do I have to leave my Bonita Springs home for termite treatment?
Only for some methods. Drywood and Formosan fumigation both require you to leave, typically for two nights and three days, until the fumigator posts clearance. You don't have to leave for Formosan liquid soil treatment, but people and pets should stay clear of the work area and off treated soil until it has been watered in or has dried. Your written quote explains the preparation for the method you choose.
Is the termite inspection really free?
Yes. The standard inspection is free. The official WDO report you may need to close on a home sale is a separate paid service, and we quote it on request.
How soon can someone come out?
We respond the same day you contact us. New customers are typically scheduled within 24 hours. Same-day appointments depend on availability and any preparation the job needs.
Does a termite warranty pay to repair damaged wood?
No. None of our termite services cover wood repair. Where a warranty applies, it covers additional treatment or servicing under that contract's terms. Formosan fumigation has no warranty.
