Frequently asked questions
How do I know if I have bed bugs or something else?
Bites alone can't confirm bed bugs, since other insects and skin reactions can look similar. Look for live bugs, tiny eggs, shed skins or dark spotting along mattress seams and furniture joints. Our free inspection checks these places and confirms what is actually there.
How soon can someone come out to my Sunrise home?
We respond the same day you reach out, and new customers are typically scheduled within 24 hours. Same-day appointments depend on availability and on whether the rooms can be prepared in time. Treatment itself follows the preparation instructions you receive.
Why does bed bug treatment take two visits?
The first liquid application treats the bugs and harborage points present that day. Eggs can hatch afterward, so the follow-up visit about fourteen days later targets that next group. A single visit alone is not a complete treatment.
What do I need to do before the technician arrives?
You'll receive specific instructions, which usually include laundering bedding and clothing, decluttering, and clearing access to beds and furniture. Plan to stay out of treated areas until surfaces are dry, typically within two hours. Avoid foggers or store-bought sprays between visits.
Can I just treat bed bugs myself?
Over-the-counter foggers and sprays can scatter bed bugs into new hiding spots and make the problem harder to treat. Our program uses a written scope and two scheduled liquid visits aimed at the areas where bugs hide. If you've already applied something, tell our inspector before treatment.
