Frequently asked questions
How much does termite treatment cost in Hialeah?
Cost depends on the termite species, the size of your home, how far the activity has spread and the method you choose. The published starting price applies only to a one-year drywood bond on a smaller home. Every other method is quoted individually after a free inspection.
Do I have to leave my home during termite treatment?
With tent fumigation, everyone has to leave, typically for two nights and three days, and no one can go back in until clearance is posted. With Formosan liquid treatment, you can stay home, but people and pets need to keep away from the work area until the treatment has dried or been watered in. Spot treatment, bonds and baiting have their own prep steps, and your inspector explains them ahead of time.
Is the termite inspection free?
Yes, the standard termite inspection is free. An official WDO real-estate report for a home sale or closing is a separate paid service, and we quote it when you request one.
Can bait stations get rid of drywood termites?
No. The baiting system targets subterranean termites, including Formosan termites. It doesn't control drywood termites or infestations above ground. For drywood termites, the options are a drywood bond, spot treatment or tent fumigation.
How soon can someone come out to my Hialeah home?
We respond the same day you reach out. New customers are typically scheduled within 24 hours, and same-day appointments depend on availability and preparation.
