Termite Treatment in Immokalee Starts With Knowing Which Termite You Have

If you’re looking for termite treatment in Immokalee, the first question is which termite is in your home. Florida homes can have drywood termites, subterranean termites, or Formosan termites, which are a type of subterranean termite. Each one lives, feeds, and spreads in its own way, and each needs a different fix. If you treat the wrong species, you waste money and the real colony keeps working.

Drywood termites live inside the wood they eat. They don’t need contact with soil, so they can settle in attic framing, trim, window frames, or furniture. Subterranean termites, including Formosan termites, nest in the ground. They build mud tubes to reach the wood in your home. You might find small piles of pellets, discarded wings near a windowsill, or thin mud tubes along the foundation and not know which problem they point to.

On Demand Pest Control starts every Immokalee termite job with a free inspection. Our inspector checks your home, identifies the termite type, and gives you written options that fit that species. Each of our termite services is built for specific species. The range covers drywood spot treatment, drywood bonds, whole-house fumigation, liquid soil treatment for Formosan termites, and a baiting system for subterranean colonies. You choose once you know what you’re dealing with.

What Drywood, Subterranean and Formosan Termite Work Involves

Each termite service involves different work at your home. Drywood bond work focuses on the structure itself. It can include attic treatment, spot injections into affected wood, or radius treatment around the activity we found. Spot treatment covers only the exact areas written on your agreement. Whole-house drywood fumigation seals the structure under tarps and uses a gas fumigant, so it can reach drywood colonies hidden inside walls and framing.

Subterranean and Formosan work happens mostly at ground level. Formosan liquid treatment means trenching along the foundation, drilling and injecting beneath slabs that meet the house, and applying spot or foam treatment where activity is known. Drill holes get patched but stay visible. Installing a baiting system means digging and drilling around the perimeter to place stations in the soil. Before either service, clear stored items away from the foundation and mark any buried lines.

When Do Termites Swarm Around Immokalee Homes?

Florida’s warm, humid climate keeps termites active all year, but most homeowners first notice them during a swarm. A swarm is a flight of winged termites leaving a mature colony to start new ones. Swarms usually follow warm, humid weather, often after rain. In an Immokalee home, a common first clue is wings on windowsills, near light fixtures, or caught in spider webs by the door.

Each species behaves differently. Subterranean and Formosan termites depend on moisture and soil. Wet ground near the foundation, leaking gutters, and wood touching soil all give them easy access. Drywood termites don’t need soil or outside moisture, so they can spread through dry attic lumber in any season. They push out tiny, hard pellets that pile up below the damaged wood.

A swarm tells you a mature colony is close by, but it doesn’t tell you which kind. That’s why we identify the species before choosing a treatment. If you see wings, pellets, or mud tubes, take a clear photo or save a sample, then schedule an inspection. That’s faster and more reliable than guessing from the calendar.

How Our Immokalee Termite Inspection and Treatment Process Works

Our termite process depends on the species we find. Here’s how a typical job goes:

  1. Free inspection.

Our inspector checks the accessible areas of your home, including the attic, exposed wood and trim, the foundation, and the ground around your home. They look for pellets, wings, mud tubes, and damaged wood.

  2. Species identification.

We confirm whether the activity is drywood, subterranean, or Formosan. That tells us which treatments make sense.

  3. Written options.

You get a written quote for the methods that fit your termite type. These are choices, not required steps. They may include spot treatment for limited drywood activity, a drywood bond, whole-house drywood fumigation, Formosan liquid treatment, Formosan fumigation, or a baiting system for subterranean colonies, including Formosan termites.

  4. Preparation.

Tent fumigation requires prep work, and you leave the home for the vacate period. That’s typically two nights and three days, and it can run longer because of weather or the size of the home. Formosan liquid treatment doesn’t require you to leave, but people and pets stay clear of the work area until the application is watered in or dry.

  5. Treatment.

A technician performs the service you chose, following the product label. Depending on the method, that can mean treating the attic, injecting specific wood, trenching and drilling along the foundation, installing bait stations, or fumigating under a tent.

  6. Follow-up under your contract.

Warranty service works the way your agreement describes. For drywood bonds, drywood fumigation, drywood spot treatment, and Formosan liquid treatment, you report new activity during the term and we come inspect it. Baiting agreements cover monitoring and servicing of the stations during the term. Formosan fumigation includes no warranty service.

How Much Does Termite Treatment in Immokalee Cost?

Termite prices vary by method. Only one option has a published starting price, and it applies to a one-year drywood termite bond on a smaller home.

Termite protection in Immokalee starts around $975 for a one-year drywood termite bond on a smaller home.

Every other method is quoted after an inspection. That includes three-year bonds, spot treatment, drywood or Formosan fumigation, Formosan liquid treatment, and the baiting system. Your final price depends on:

  • Termite species: drywood, subterranean, and Formosan termites each call for different methods.
  • Extent of activity: a few localized spots cost less to treat than activity spread through the structure.
  • Home size and layout: square footage and how the house is built affect materials and labor.
  • Access: how easy the attic, framing, and foundation are to reach.
  • Renewal choices: whether you add optional renewal where your method offers it.

Standard inspections are free and include a written quote, so you see your options and their terms before you decide. An official wood-destroying organism report for a real estate closing is a separate paid service, quoted on request.

What Customers Say About On Demand Pest Control

★★★★★

“Aiden was excellent! On his own initiative, he checked the wooden table and mirror by the front door where the dead termites had been found. He also checked another piece of wooden furniture that was nearby. He also found a new hole that the termites had made and was very thorough in treating the whole area. We are very pleased with his service and would highly recommend him to our friends.”

“On Friday morning I saw what appeared to be droppings from drywood termites in my cabinet. I sent an online inquiry about a termite inspection. I received a call within 10 minutes, and by 130 that afternoon Bill came by to do a free inspection. Bill was knowledgeable, thorough, honest, and polite. He didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need and provided a synopsis of possible treatments.”

★★★★★

“My neighbors used them and they came highly recommended. I called, they scheduled right away to come out, scheduled the tenting for termites right away, and scheduled the walk through appointment. Matthew Klein Senior inspector came out and is my rep now. He is very thorough, honest, and upfront. They do not add additional services just because, they listen to your needs, no games.”

Why Immokalee Homeowners Choose Us for Termite Control

Homeowners hire us because we match the treatment to the termite, and each option comes with written terms that show how it differs from the others.

  • Species first: Every recommendation follows identification. Our baiting system is only for subterranean termites, including Formosan. We handle drywood activity with spot treatment, drywood bonds, or drywood fumigation.
  • Licensed, with a nearby branch: We carry Pest Control License #JB259950, and our West Coast branch in Naples serves Immokalee homes.
  • Terms that differ by method: Spot treatment covers only the treated areas for 60 days and can’t be transferred. Drywood bonds and drywood fumigation have renewable terms that can transfer to a new owner with written notice. Formosan fumigation has no warranty at all, and we tell you that up front.
  • Quick response: We respond the same day. New customers are typically scheduled within 24 hours, and same-day appointments depend on availability and preparation.

Termite Warranty Coverage: What Each Method Includes

Coverage depends on the method you choose, because no single termite warranty covers every service. Drywood bonds start with a one-year or three-year term, and after that you can renew one year at a time. Drywood fumigation and Formosan liquid treatment each start with a one-year term, with optional yearly renewal. For drywood bonds and drywood fumigation, if covered drywood termite activity comes back during the term, we inspect at no charge and re-treat at no extra cost. For Formosan liquid treatment, if covered Formosan activity comes back during the term, we inspect at no charge and provide further liquid treatment at no extra cost. Fumigation is never part of that warranty. The baiting system covers subterranean termites, including Formosan termites, and the first year of monitoring and servicing comes with installation. During the term, we inspect the installed stations at least once a year and replace, refresh, or repair stations and bait as needed at no additional charge. Renewal after that first year is optional. Drywood spot treatment covers only the treated areas for 60 days. It can’t be renewed or transferred.

Know the limits before you buy. Formosan fumigation is sold with no warranty. It includes no retreatment obligation, no warranty term, and no renewal. If you want more treatment later, we quote it as separate work under a new agreement. For ongoing Formosan coverage, you can choose Formosan liquid treatment or the baiting system, and each one has its own agreement and terms. None of our termite services pay to repair wood that termites have damaged. Each contract’s warranty terms spell out what’s covered, including species limits, your responsibilities as the homeowner, and transfer rules if you sell. Read the terms for your method before you sign so you know exactly what renews and what doesn’t.

Frequently asked questions

Is a termite inspection free in Immokalee?

Yes. The standard termite inspection is free. Our inspector identifies the species and gives you a written quote for the methods that fit. An official wood-destroying organism report for a real estate closing is a separate paid service.

Do I have to leave my home during termite treatment?

It depends on the method. For tent fumigation, you leave for the vacate period, which is typically two nights and three days and can run longer. You come back only after the licensed fumigator posts clearance. Formosan liquid soil treatment doesn't require you to leave, but people and pets stay away from the work area until the application is watered in or dry. For other methods, your inspector will explain what to expect for your home.

Does a termite warranty pay to repair damaged wood?

No. None of our termite agreements cover repair or replacement of wood that termites have damaged. What a warranty covers depends on the method. Drywood bonds, drywood fumigation, and drywood spot treatment cover inspection and re-treatment of covered drywood activity under their written terms. Formosan liquid treatment covers further liquid treatment only, never fumigation. The baiting system covers monitoring and servicing of the bait stations. Formosan fumigation has no warranty.

Why does Formosan fumigation have no warranty?

Formosan fumigation is a single whole-house treatment that targets the Formosan termites present on the day of treatment. It's sold with no warranty, no included retreatment obligation, and no renewal. We quote any later treatment as separate work. For ongoing Formosan coverage, you can choose Formosan liquid treatment, which comes with a one-year renewable warranty for further liquid treatment, or the baiting system, which covers Formosan and other subterranean termites under its own terms.

How soon can someone come out to my Immokalee home?

We respond the same day. New customers are typically scheduled within 24 hours, and same-day appointments depend on availability and preparation.
