Frequently asked questions
How soon can someone come out for rodent control in Coral Springs?
ODPC responds the same day you reach out. New customer appointments are typically scheduled within 24 hours. Same-day appointments may be possible, depending on availability and preparation.
How many visits does rodent removal take?
Rodent removal takes at least two visits, spaced 5–7 days apart. On the first visit, your technician seals entry points and sets traps inside the home. Follow-up visits check the traps and look for remaining activity.
Do you put bait stations inside my home?
No. Bait stations are placed only around the outside perimeter, where appropriate, to reduce rodent pressure outside. Inside the home, we use traps.
Is attic cleanup included with rodent control?
Attic sanitation is an optional add-on, offered and priced separately when contamination warrants it. It can include removing contaminated insulation, sanitizing and deodorizing, and re-insulating. Your inspector will tell you whether your attic may benefit from it, and the choice is yours.
Can I handle rats in my attic myself?
Traps from the hardware store can catch a rat or two, but they don't close the gaps that let rodents in. Without sealing the roofline, soffits, vents and plumbing vent stacks, new rodents can keep finding their way inside. A professional inspection finds those openings so they can be sealed properly.
