Frequently asked questions
Is killing a mouse in the house enough to solve the problem?
Usually not. One mouse often means others are nesting nearby, and the gap it used is still open. Removal works best when the entry points are sealed and the mice still inside are trapped at the same time.
How long does it take to get rid of mice?
Removal takes at least two visits, 5–7 days apart. Sealing and trapping start on the first visit, and follow-up visits check traps and activity. The total time depends on how established the activity was, so we don't promise elimination by a fixed date.
What happens if a mouse dies inside a wall?
We use traps indoors, placed where mice travel and where the technician can check them. Finding or removing a rodent that dies inside a wall, ceiling or other hard-to-reach space isn't covered under the rodent agreement.
Are the traps safe to have around kids and pets?
Traps go in low-traffic spots where mice travel. Keep children and pets away from those areas, and don't handle or move the traps. A trap that pets or people disturb can also stop working.
Do I need to do anything between visits?
Store dry food and pet food in sealed, hard containers and clean up crumbs under appliances. Leave the traps where the technician set them. Call us if you notice new droppings, noises or chewing.
