Rodent control that looks beyond the trap

Hearing scratching above the ceiling or finding droppings in your home? You need to know what is happening, how rodents are getting inside and what it will take to address the problem.

On Demand Pest Control inspects inside and outside, then recommends trapping, exclusion and follow-up based on your property. During the initial treatment visit, we seal identified entry points and set traps together. You receive a written quote for the work your home needs.

An inspection connects the signs you see with the structure we need to check.

A plan for your property

Trapping, exclusion and ongoing monitoring serve different jobs

The right scope starts with the inspection—not a one-size-fits-all package. Here is how the main parts of rodent control fit together.

Activity inside

Trapping & follow-up

Traps address rodents already in the structure. Scheduled follow-ups let our team check traps and review activity as the work progresses.

Your written service scope explains the visits selected for your home.

Access into the structure

Rodent exclusion

We seal identified entry points using professional rodent-proof installation methods. The inspection can uncover gaps around soffits, roof or gable vents and plumbing vent stacks.

Sealing and trap placement take place together during the initial treatment visit.

Pressure around the property

Exterior monitoring

Exterior bait stations may be recommended where appropriate to manage rodent population pressure around the property.

Monitoring is a separate service—not a substitute for trapping or exclusion, and not a guarantee against entry.

Attic contamination needs its own assessment

If the inspection finds attic activity, recommended sanitation or decontamination may include removing contaminated insulation, sanitizing, deodorizing and re-insulating. This work is quoted separately; it is not automatically included in a trapping-and-exclusion price.

When to call

Signs of rats or mice worth investigating

You do not need to identify the rodent before requesting an inspection. Tell us where you have noticed activity and what you have seen or heard.

Scratching in walls or ceilings

Noises can point to activity in concealed spaces. Let us know which rooms are affected.

Droppings or gnaw marks

Note where you found them so the technician can check the surrounding area.

Nesting material

Disturbed or gathered material is another reason to have the property inspected.

Damaged wiring

Visible damage is worth reporting along with any other signs of rodent activity.

From first inspection to follow-up

What happens when you hire us for rodent control

  1. Inspect the property

We inspect inside and outside for signs of activity and active or likely entry points. We discuss the findings and provide a written quote for the recommended work.

  2. Seal entry points and set traps

During the initial treatment visit, identified entry points are sealed and traps are set together. The scope is based on the structure and the activity found—not just the room where you first noticed a problem.

  3. Check traps and review activity

Scheduled follow-ups let our team check traps and assess activity. The written scope explains the visits and work selected for your home.

  4. Discuss any additional work

If the property needs attic sanitation or exterior monitoring, we explain those recommendations and quote them separately. We also explain the exclusion warranty and the entry points it covers.

A written quote for your home

Complete rodent control in your area — trapping plus full exclusion to seal the entry points — starts around $1,050 for a typical single-story home.

The inspection and written quote determine the actual scope and price. Any additional inspection-recommended sanitation or other work is quoted separately.

What customers say about On Demand

★★★★★

“Logan and Jon were incredibly knowledgeable and polite during their visit to our home. We highly recommend their services. Logan sealed off all areas after having a new tile roof installed to make sure it stays free of any rodents. Jon also came out to secure the roof again to make sure there were no additional sections that needed sealed. Jaime was also very informative as a sales rep!”

“OnDemand sent Raymond as our tech. This was a nasty rodent infestation. In all he was back 5 times, VERY THOROUGH. And Patient with both the job and the concerns of the residents. Result: FULL extermination, and FULL removals! Ray was thorough so we are optimistic we won’t be seeing these rodents again any time soon. He also helped me move some things and block a potential entry point in the bathroom.”
